Feeding: Emperor Newts should be fed 2-3 times a week with a varied diet of appropriately sized prey items, such as bloodworms (frozen or fresh), earthworms, tubifex, shrimp, insect larvae and slugs. Feed 3 or 4 prey items per Newt per feeding.
Behaviour: Friendly and non-aggressive towards people, cannot be kept with fish!
Comments: Emperor Newts require an intermediate Level of care, Their tanks should largely be land with a small body of water, plenty of Hiding spaces and substrate that will retain moisture such as Coconut Earth, Sphagnum Moss and Darkwood chippings.
